The Founder's Journey
A personal experience that shaped a simpler approach to everyday body care.
In 2008, co-founder Peter Moon went through a difficult personal health period that changed the way he thought about everyday self-care. As he and Kim prepared to welcome their first child, he began paying closer attention to simple routines, ingredients, and the products used on the body each day.
That curiosity grew into years of hands-on learning and formulation work focused on texture, application, simplicity, and the everyday experience of body care. Over time, those lessons helped shape the philosophy behind Faith & Moon: keep the formula straightforward, communicate clearly, and create something our family would feel good about sharing with yours.
