Faith & Moon began with a personal search.

A difficult period in co-founder Peter Moon's own wellness journey changed the way he thought about the products he used every day. After years of searching, learning, experimenting, and refining, that personal pursuit became something much bigger: a product he believed was worth sharing with his family.

Together with Kim, that journey grew into Faith & Moon: a family-founded body-care company built around thoughtful formulation, clear communication, and the belief that a product should earn trust before it earns scale.

Sometimes the product you are looking for does not exist yet. That is when you begin building it yourself.

In 2008, co-founder Peter Moon went through a difficult personal health period that changed the way he thought about everyday wellness and the products he used on his body.

What followed was not a straight path to a company.

It was years of searching, learning, experimenting with different approaches, paying attention to ingredients, texture, application, and what made a product feel worth returning to.

Over time, one idea kept becoming clearer: Peter was not trying to create another product for an already crowded category. He was trying to create the kind of product he had been looking for himself.

That search eventually shaped the philosophy behind Faith & Moon Body Oil: keep the formula purposeful, make the experience simple, communicate clearly, and pay attention to how the product actually feels in everyday use.

What began as a personal search slowly became something Peter and Kim believed was worth building together as a family.

Years of searching and hands-on learning eventually shaped a clear product philosophy for Faith & Moon.

We wanted something simple enough to understand, enjoyable enough to use every day, and distinctive enough that the experience would matter after application.

That led us to a lightweight jojoba-based body oil paired with our Signature Botanical Blend, designed around smooth glide, a refined aromatic experience, and a soft, conditioned sense of skin comfort.

For us, the real difference is not only how a body oil feels when you first apply it.

It is how your skin feels later.

That idea continues to guide how we formulate, how we listen to customer feedback, and how we decide whether a product has truly earned a place in someone’s everyday routine.
